Energetic refurbishment

With a comprehensive or energy-efficient renovation involving window replacement, you can achieve a KfW efficiency house standard and thus receive a promotional loan of up to 150,000€ with low interest rates from the Kreditanstalt für Wiederaufbau (KfW). Depending on the house, you can receive a 5-45% subsidy or a maximum amount of 67,500€ for your KOCH windows and even doors as well as their removal and installation. In addition to funding subsidies, this also includes repayment subsidies.

The Federal Office of Economics and Export Control (BAFA) is also subsidizing window replacement for your energy-efficient renovation. With the Federal Funding for Efficient Buildings — Individual Measure (BEG EM), you receive a 15% subsidy on your KOCH windows and their installation and expansion. Another 5% can be added if your window replacement is part of an individual renovation schedule (ISFP) prepared by an energy consultant. This allows you to receive a total of up to 12,000€ in funding.

You can also recover part of the costs of your KOCH windows and even doors as well as their installation and removal through your income tax return. The requirements are that they live there themselves as house and apartment owners and that the building is at least 10 years old. You can then deduct 20% of the cost of replacing windows over three years from income tax: 7% in the year of the energy-efficient renovation, 7 % in the following year and 6% in the third year, up to a maximum of 40,000€.
